The Sugar Research Advisory Service aims to encourage appropriate use and
enjoyment of sugar as part of a healthy and balanced diet.
For health professionals it is a source of the latest scientific information
related to sugar in the diet. Information is based on the most recent research
findings and has been reviewed and approved by a group of independent experts.
The Sugar Research Advisory Service is an information service established in 2002 and funded by the New
Zealand Sugar Company.
The Sugar Research Advisory Service is advised by some of New Zealand’s most pre-eminent nutrition experts
including Winsome Parnell, Dr Bernadette Drummond and Jenny Reid.
